This blog is about how electronic cigarettes can help people quit smoking. I used to be a heavy smoker and while I was aware of the damage I was doing to my body, I still continued to smoke. Since purchasing my first ecig, I have yet to smoke a real cigarette. I want to share with people how ecigs have changed my life and show others how easy it is. Ecig Reviews
I have received many emails from readers regarding which ecigs are the best and how to choose one. This question comes up a lot from people who are looking to start using ecigs because honest reviews are hard to come by. Many review sites are affiliates of the different ecig companies who are just looking to sell as much product as they can and dont usually post honest reviews.

I owe much of my success of
quitting smoking to electronic cigarettes. Since using them, my doctor has said
my overall health has improved tremendously and I feel better than ever. Ecigs
gave me the ability to gradually reduce my nicotine dependency and still feel
like I was smoking. Everything about ecigs has been great and I want other
people to see the benefits from them but there is one problem.
Many ecig companies use affiliates to sell
their products. While there is nothing wrong with this, it leads to biased
reviews from affiliates just trying to push their product. During my search for
legitimate electronic cigarette reviews, I had a hard time finding a site that
was not plastered with ads and 5 star reviews for everything. This made it
difficult for me to find which ecig was best for me. I continued my search
until I came across e-smoke-reviews.com. This site
organized the information in an easy to read way that allowed me to see what I
would be getting from each product. The reviews on the site seemed honest and I
was able to decide on which ecig to purchase.
As I said earlier, ecigs have changed my
life for the better. I couldn't be happier now that I'm done smoking cigarettes
and I want others to experience the same benefits. I almost never got around to
ordering one because I thought they would be a waste of money and many sites to

Quit Smoking Motivation
Despite knowing that cigarettes were causing harm to my body, I still continued to smoke. Once I decided to finally quit, I began looking at different pictures that showed the negative affects of smoking. This gave me motivation to continue to stay away from cigarettes and the more I learned from these images, the more motivated I was to quit. Smoking is a horrible habit that has negatively affected the
health of millions around the world. Everyday people continue to purchase packs
of cigarettes even if they know that there are putting themselves at risk for
health problems. As I am sure many of you know, cigarettes are addictive and
quitting smoking can be difficult for many, despite how informed they are on
the toxic chemicals that they knowingly put in their body. Cigarettes contain many
harmful ingredients but the one that keeps smokers coming back for another cig
is the nicotine. The addiction to nicotine is difficult to break and is the
main reason why many people have trouble quitting smoking.
Because smokers have created an addiction to nicotine from
repeated cigarette use, simply stopping smoking can be nearly impossible.
Patches and gums work for some but the satisfaction of smoking is no longer
there and many find themselves turning back to cigarettes. With nicotine, the
key is to gradually reduce your dependency over time instead of quitting cold

How I Quit
I was lying in my bed coughing up a lung while trying to
stay warm on a cold winter morning. My cough had gotten worse throughout the week
and I was worried that I was coming down with the flu. As I fought the cough I
started my morning off as I usually did, smoking a cigarette out on the deck.
Cold and shivering, I continued to puff on the cigarette with coughs in between
puffs. The cold was getting to me but I could not go inside because of the
smell that would linger in my apartment.
I continued to cough and freeze outside when I finally
realized the negativity that cigarettes were bringing to my life. I was making
myself sicker standing outside only because I had a craving to essentially
“make myself sicker” (smoke cigarettes). More and more reasons ran through my
head as I pondered quitting smoking. I walked inside and threw the last pack of
cigarettes in the trash and decided it was time to quit. This was going to be
the start of a new life for me and I was excited to rid my body of the harmful
toxins from cigarettes.
COLD TURKEY
I felt good on the drive to work and was happy to have
smoked my last cigarette. Unfortunately, quitting cold turkey is not as easy
follow through with as it may seem. By lunch time I had walked to the gas
station and already smoked two cigarettes. While I became discouraged with my
effort, I felt I had let myself down. Despite the unsuccessful attempt at quitting
smoking, the horrible feeling of letting myself down at least reminded me that
I was serious about this change. I just needed a plan.
NICOTINE PATCHES
Before I left work, the pack of cigarettes that I had just
purchased was in the trash. I had heard of nicotine patches and gum that have
helped people quit smoking and that was going to be what I tried next.
Determined to never smoke a cigarette again, I drove to the drug store and
talked with an employee about the options that I had and ended up leaving with
a pack of nicotine patches along with the gum. I had two options for quitting
and felt confident that one of them would work.
I was wrong. The patches made me sick, the gum tasted gross
and I couldn’t continue to chew it. I had begun to smoke again after a few days
of trying to quit. Once again I felt a feeling of letting myself down but at
least that again made me realize I was serious about quitting. I just needed to
find another way.
E-CIGARETTES
Browsing the Internet for another option to quitting, I came
across electronic cigarettes commonly known as e-cigs. After doing some
research I realized that this is exactly what I was looking for. I still would
be able to “smoke” and could gradually reduce the strength level of the
nicotine until I was no longer addicted. This was exactly what I needed and I
began to look for a brand to try.

A few months had passed and I hadn’t picked up a real
